AN EXPRESS reader thinks she has the answer to a UFO riddle which has been puzzling people.
Carole Smith from Maynards Green said she also saw lights in the sky seen by several others as she drove from her home to Herstmonceux.
She said: 'Looking in the sky I could see these round things with no beam going round and round.

'But when we
drove through Horam you could see the beam.

'There was a party at Horam Village Hall and this big spotlight thing was outside.

'As we drove back past Broad Farm on the Heathfield Road this car suddenly slowed down because it could see the lights.

'It was a bit spooky.'
Horam Village Hall Committee confirmed there was a party at the hall that night which was booked by children's hospice Demelza-James.

Demelza-James confirmed there had been a fundraising event at the hall that night which could explain the sitings.
