AFTER the long build-up to Worthing Birdman, thousands of people were able to enjoy one day of fun before high winds stopped play.
There were some strange sites at the end of Worthing Pier once the ramp had been built.

High winds on Sunday, July 6, meant the final jumps had to be cancelled, but readeres Pamelia Long, David Brogan, Mike Stephens, Martin Duke of www.mediaattention.co.uk, and Lee Taylor, sent in the images above.
