An Olympics for the mind has begun at Bognor Regis and Willowhale libraries.
The starting gun for this year's summer reading challenge was fired at the beginning of the month, and the finishing line will be crossed on September 4.

The challenge will be based around the Beijing games on the theme of Team Read.

Special ac
tivities include parachute games for five- to 11-year-olds at Bognor Library between 2pm and 3pm on August 12.

A Polish and English story time for those aged three to five will take place there on the next day from 2pm to 3pm.

Half-an-hour of baby rhyme time will be held at the London Road library from 10.15am every Monday.

At Willowhale Library in Rose Green, storytime for those aged three to five will take place between 2.15pm and 2.45pm every Thursday.
