FULL VALUE is on the concert programme with which Worthing Philharmonic Orchestra conclude their season.
It amounts to a summer feast: Schubert's Overture to Rosamunde, Tchaikowsky's huge Piano Conceerto No 1, Mendelssohn's wonderful seascape tone poem masquerading as an overture, The Hebrides (Fingal's Cave), then Schumann's Third Symphony, his Rhenish.

Guest conductors this season have been keeping the WPO on its mettle and on course in delivering its aim of making classical music accessible for all. Following Dominic Numms and Steve Dummer comes, this time, David Bennet. He directs West Sussex Youth orchestra.

The piano soloist will be the returning Robert Scamardella.

The concert is billed as Concert for a Summer's Evening.

Tickets £8-£15 on 01903 206206, children under 16 and students £3, one child under 16 accompanied by an adult gains free admission.

Season tickets now available for next season (Five concerts for the price of three), Friends/Members of WPO and Worthing Symphony Society members receive a £1 discount.
