Egg rowers – photograph from the Worthing Herald's archives

SOMEONE'S been creative with these rowing eggs.

The egg coxed eight, pictured, is just one of the hundreds of mystery photographs discovered in the Herald archives.

With prices in old money, and a display of bread in the background, this creative display is likely to have been in a grocers shop.

Do you recall seeing the boat of eggs or know why they were on display?
