Businessman had wheel cheek
WOULD the businessman cyclist who tapped me on my shoulder and told me to move out of his way on Broadwater bridge early on Wednesday morning please remember it is a footpath intended for pedestrians, not cyclists.
He was most agitated that I was listening to music with headphones on my personal music system.
Therefore, I had not heard him telling me to get out of his way.
While I actually don't mind sharing the pavement with polite, careful cyclists (as I am aware how dangerous it is cycling on roads), I really think tapping my shoulder and yelling at me to turn my music down so I could hear him coming is pushing it!
I have no doubt we will bump into each other again as we were both on our way to work, so next time may I suggest you get off your bike and walk or use the road.
