In a flap about the state of penguins
I HAVE had means to visit the cardiology department at Worthing Hospital recently and, as I am 94, I am usually pushed down in a wheelchair.
I have little time to look around but I have noticed – very regretfully – that the penguins which can be seen through the window are no longer smart, black effigies but masses of rusting metal.
I understand that it is more important to spend money on the patients, but are there no people in this prosperous town who could pay towards them being returned to their former state?
I understand the rich probably don't rely on the hospital so they may not have seen them, but couldn't something be done about it?
