Potholes date back to the previous winter

THE COUNCIL recently asked the public to report potholes.

I just wonder which year they are referring to as most of the potholes in Worthing are from the previous winter, 2008/2009.

The situation is now getting serious, with people swerving to miss the potholes, which will eventually lead to a serious accident.

The report in the Herald (Febraury 25) said they were repairing some 500 potholes a day (where are they?).

What I cannot understand is why the holes they have to repair is made five-times bigger, with four-men watching, one doing the work, plus one-supervising.
