Spy Glass praise

REGARDING three letters on the Your Views page (Worthing Herald, February 2) complaining about the Spy Glass bar on the seafront opposite the pier.

What’s the problem? Worthing is a seaside resort.

I find it different and cheerful; it makes a lovely change. Right on the seafront, it fits in well. I popped in to say hello, and enquired about the menu, and wish them luck.

There’s a lot of effort gone into this bar. They were very polite and friendly. I should imagine it’s the older folk who don’t like it.

But cheer up, give them a chance, for goodness sake.

Incidentally, I’m 73 years of age, and I wish them a very busy time now, and especially in the summer months.
