Where is last soldier to leave Waziristan now?

I HOPE your readers can help me.

I am trying to find a Mr F. Leeson who, I believe, lives in the Ferring/Worthing area.

He is known as the last soldier to leave Waziristan in the late 1940s.

My dad served in Waziristan from 1937 until 1943, but died when I was only eight weeks old in 1951, so any help your readers can give me will go a long way to fill in the gaps as I know very little of his life.
