VIDEO: Shoppers stop to watch Worthing Children’s Parade

THE town centre was buzzing to the sounds of Worthing Children’s Parade today (Saturday, May 18)

The fourth annual parade hit the streets of Worthing at 10am with more than 800 children from 17 different schools taking part.

Project co-ordinator, Lindy Stannard, said she was “thrilled” with the turnout.

The colourful parade was seen by hundreds of people who lined the streets to watch.

The schools which took part this year were Bramber First, Broadwater First and Middle, Chatsmore Catholic High, Chesswood Middle, Downsbrook Middle, Durrington First, English Martyrs Catholic Primary, The Laurels First, Lyndhurst First, Oak Grove College, St Mary’s Catholic Primary, Springfield First, Thomas A’Becket First, Thomas A’Becket Middle, Vale First and Middle, West Park CE First and Middle and Whytemead First.
