Where are they now? Pictures from the Worthing Herald archives

SEARCHING through the Herald archives has revealed a treasure trove of Worthing's history in the 20th century.

Among the thousands of photographs are hundreds of images which cannot be identified but will mean something to Herald readers.

During the months ahead more photographs will be added to the new Looking Back section of the Worthing Herald's website.

Details about the pictures will be added once it is known.

Who were they? Where and when did they play?

It looks like an event for teenagers held in the late 1950s or early 1960s.

There are certainly a few Tony Curtis style haircuts in the crowd and the band look like a skiffle group.
