French touch from VFB's Prince

FRENCH-BORN Sebastien Quemere takes the lead of the Prince in Vienna Festival Ballet's Sleeping Beauty at Worthing.
He has been with the company only since February, in effect joining in time for this tour.

He started his artistic studies in Marseille at the world famous Ecole nationale Superieure de Danse de Marseille, directed by Roland Petit. He studied there for six years, and won a contract at the Ballet National de Nancy et de Lorraine in 1997.

From 1998 to 2003, Sebastien joined the Bejart Ballet, Lausanne, Switzerland, and from there toured extensively throughout USA, Japan, Russia, Europe, South America and Asia.

After soloist contracts with Salzburger Landestheater, and the Cirque Royal, Belguim, dancing major roles, he was invited as Guest Artist with the Munich State Opera in the role of the Prince in the Nutcracker.

Due to his stage presence and personality Sebastien was invited to appear in many different commercial TV shows such as Gala dos Idolos, Sic 2005, Elite Model Look Portugal 2005

In 2006 he was invited to perform in Taiwan in the Patrice Marques Production " Las Vegas Fantasy 2".

Most recently he has been in Estoril Portugal performing in another Patrice Marques production and acting as Swing Dance Captain.

He joined Vienna Festival Ballet in February 2008
