St Petersburgers this Christmas

THE top ballet attraction at Christmas is the now regular visit by the St Petersburg Ballet Theatre to Brighton's Dome.
The Russians operate out of the same city as the Kirov, of course, and there will be artistic movement of personnel between the two.

Last year they performed Sleeping Beauty and Giselle but this year they include a gala event multi-bill slipped between The Nutcracker and Swan Lake. This programme includes Chopiniana, Auber's Grand Pas Classique and Folkine's Dying Swan.

Performance dates:
The Nutcracker – December 21 22 23 and 26
Stars of SPBT Gala – December 27 and 28
Swan Lake – December 29 and 30.
