SHOW you nose what's important, by supporting Littlehampton Carnival.
Green noses are now in local shops, priced at £1 each, with all proceeds going towards the town's biggest summer event, to be held on July 11 and costing tens of thousands of pounds to put on.

Committee members are working tirelessly to stage the carnival, which this year will see an all-new event of "human Swiss rolls", where teams of four will compete to be dunked in red, then white gunge and wrapped in a duvet, in the quickest time.

There is still time to enter a float or walking group, and Freda Hughes, of the committee, said: "We want to make this the biggest and best yet, and to do that we need as many entries as possible."

She added that cash prizes, of £150 for first place, £100 for second and £50 for third, were on offer.

For more information call Freda on 01903 716634.

Green noses are available from the Littlehampton Gazette office, Beach Road, The Fabric Store, in the Arcade, and Dorothy Perkins and David O Jones Sports, in the High Street.
