A street-drinker wound up in court last week accused of breaching the conditions of his ASBO.
Peter Eagle, 43, is banned from drinking in public but was found by officers sat next to a bottle of vodka in Warrior Gardens on August 21.
Eagle, of London Road in St Leonards, pleaded not guilty to this breach when he appeared at Hastings Magistraters Court last Friday - saying the bottle was not his.
He did however admit being in breach of a dispersal order on the same day.
Eagle will now face trial for the first charge, at a date to be fixed this week. He was remanded in custody and will appear via video-link.
