Two Hastings shops closing down

A town centre shop is closing with the loss of seven jobs.
Rosebys, which is based in Priory Meadow, is one of the company's 280 stores nationwide which will be shutting its doors due to the credit crunch.
The firm, which specialises in home textiles, has not set a definite date as yet when its Hastings branch will be moving out.
Rosebys called in administrators KPMG late last month.
The company, which has its headquarters in Rotherham, Yorkshire, employs more than 2,000 people around the country.
Savers, which is also in Priory Meadow and sells health and beauty products, is also moving out of Hastings on October 25 due to high rent charges.
Clarks Shoes will be moving into the unit from its current shop in Wellington Place.
Meanwhile talks are underway between Seaspace and Tesco over the possibility of a new Tesco Metro store opening up in the new development at Lacuna Place.
A Seaspace spokesman said: "We can confirm discussions are taking place over the possibility of Tesco occupying one of the ground-floor units but there is no definite answer whether Tesco will move in."
