FINE weather has brought out the crowds for the "biggest and best ever" Worthing Lions Festival.
A host of events are taking place across the town including markets, a funfair and a music concert tonight (Saturday, July 26).

At Worthing fire station open day, in Ardsheal Road, a number of displays were put on for visitors, including how firefighters tackle a chip pan fire.

The Herald's digital journalist, Sarah Dale, got first-hand experience of how fire crews tackle a road traffic accident.

She volunteered to be cut out of a car as part of a vehicle extrication display.

To see what the display looked like, and for other festival scenes, click on the green play button on the right.
