SCORES of Worthing residents turned out in the sunshine today (Saturday, May 30) to interrogate the town's MPs about their expenses.
MPs Tim Loughton and Peter Bottomley held the town centre street "surgery" in South Street Square to hear constituents' views - but angered residents had to wait for Mr Bottomley to arrive 30 minutes after the gathering was supposed to start.

Questions put to Mr Loughton and Mr Bottomley included what parliament will be doing to restore the public's faith in MPs and why MPs have a second home rather than commuting.

Click the green play button to see some of the reaction to the street "surgery".

Worthing Commentator,

So Mr Bottomley was 30 mins late?

Perhaps if he lived in the constituency he represented he may have been on time.

Let's have our MP's living in the areas in which they represent...

maybe Its because of all those extra houses MPs have he felt he should do this

Would you complain if he had claimed expenses to move here?
