Six people involved in two-car crash near Horsham

A MAN was airlifted to hospital with severe injuries after an accident involving two vehicles.
Six people were involved in the crash on the Billingshurst Road between Broadbridge Heath and Five Oaks. Firefighters had to cut one person from the wreckage.

The accident happened at around 5pm on Saturday night (October 11) and the road was closed for several hours.

South East Coast Ambulance Service took casualties to hospital by land ambulance.

West Sussex Fire and Rescue Service sent three appliances to the scene and they were there for an hour and a half.
