Top chef opens Horsham restaurant

A MICHELIN starred chef who worked for Marco Pierre White has taken over a restaurant in Horsham.
Tristan Mason decided to set up his own business after several years acting as head chef for top establishments.
His aim it to put Horsham on the UK food map, as well as one day write a book and work in television.
Tristan, 31, said: "Horsham is a lovely area - I just had a good feel about it. I want to get my star and I want my three rosettes. I want to make it one of the best restaurants in England."
Restaurant Tristan opens on Tuesday July 22, showcasing modern British cuisine with French influences.
In total 40 seats are housed in the 16th century building which was Stans Way House restaurant in Stans Way, just off East Street.
Most recently Tristan was the head chef at the Michelin starred Orrery in Marylebone where he was awarded three AA Rosettes.
He even won the London Best Up and Coming Chef Award in the Good Food Guide in 2008.
