Motorist taken to hospital after being cut free from car in Lancing

A driver had to be cut free from his car last night (Friday, February 6) after he collided with a lamp post along the A259 Brighton Road in Lancing.
The accident near the junction with Lancing Park was attended by crew from Worthing Fire Station who used rescue equipment to cut the man free just before midnight.

The driver was then taken to Worthing Hospital.
