ACTRESS Nikki Cicero picked up some blooming good tips in preparation for her role as Eliza Doolittle in My Fair Lady.
Nikki joined the flower sellers in Montague Place to help her get into character before she takes to the stage in the Worthing Musical Comedy Society's production.

Nikki said: "Eliza opens the show selling flowers at Covent Garden in London so I thought I would come and see how the professionals do it."

Nikki will be supported in the show – which will be at the Connaught Theatre from Monday, May 18 – by Wayne Roberts, who plays the role of Freddy Eynsford-Hill.

She added: "This is such a challenging role to play as it is so closely associated with Audrey Hepburn in the film version – but I am really enjoying getting into character."

My Fair Lady runs from May 18-23. Tickets £11 to £15.
