TAP DANCING, fun and confusion are promised by the Littlehampton Musical Comedy Society's latest production.
Anything Goes, by Cole Porter, is the tale of Billy Crocker, who stows away on the SS American to be near his love, Hope Harcourt.

All does not go to plan though, when Hope is lost to English gentleman Sir Evelyn Oakleigh, and Billy is mistaken for public enemy number one, Snake Eyes Johnson, initiating a series of hilarious disguises, and a plan to win back the girl.

Jan Combes, of LMCS, said: "This is the first time the company has staged the challenging musical, and the cast are all enjoying the experience of learning to tap dance for the title number, under the direction of expert choreographer and producer Carolyn Bennett."

Billy is played by Michael Brook, with his love rival, Sir Oakleigh, being played by Tony Bright, and Megan Smith takes the role of Hope.

Gangster Moonface Martin is played by Mat Hamper, with Nikki Cecero as his larger-than-life moll, Bonnie.

The show will run at the Windmill from August 6 to 9, and tickets are available by calling 01903 722224, Monday to Friday, 9.30am to 4.30pm.
