A MOTORCYCLIST was seriously injured after his Harley Davidson motorbike collided with a car.
The man was travelling down the A22 at Lower Dicker on Friday.

His motorbike collided with a red Volkswagen car being driven by a woman.

The accident happened just outside Dicker Stores.

Sally Engley, manager of the stores, heard the accident outside her shop.

Mrs Engley said: 'I heard a big bang and then it was just all panic.

'We saw the motorcyclist and I telephoned 999 to get an ambulance.

'There were a lot of people.'

The male motorbiker was taken to hospital by ambulance. He was treated for a compound fracture to the wrist, broken bone in his neck, cuts and bruises. The man is now recovering from his injuries at home.

Police received a call about the accident at 12.52pm and temporarily closed the road.
