Two treated after flat fire

TWO people were taken to hospital suffering from smoke inhalation after a fire at a flat.
Emergency services were called to the ground floor flat in Park Road, Crowborough, at 1.20am today (Wednesday).

Firefighters from Crowborough and Uckfield attended.

They left the scene at 2.09am having made the premises safe.

The two casualties are not believed to have suffered serious injuries.

It is believed the fire was started accidentally.
