CARNIVAL: Charity meeting
BROADWATER Carnival organisers will be meeting to decide their chosen charities for 2009.
Broadwater Carnival Society will be holding its annual meeting on Monday, September 22, at the Broadwater Working Men's Conservative Club, in Broadwater Street East.
The society is seeking new volunteers to help with fund-raising and has invited anyone interested in joining the committee to attend the meeting at 6.30pm.
To be considered as the society's chosen charities, people must make an application in writing to Janet Williams at Broadwater News, 4 Broadwater Boulevard, Worthing, BN14 8JE.
The closing date is Friday, September 19.
