STICKY Fingers formed about a year and a half ago after Steve (vocals) answered an ad for a band looking for a singer.
The rest of the boys had been together a while before that, just jamming and idly looking for a singer.
Since then, they've done a hand-full of pub gigs around the Worthing area and also a few private functions.
Playing a mixture of old and modern covers with their own twist, they've also recorded a three-song demo at a studio in Ford.
Vocalist Steve Mouland has been singing for as long as he can remember and, being only 21, he's the baby of the band.
He studied music and gained a national diploma and a higher national diploma at BIMM (Brighton Institute of Modern Music).
While there, he grew in confidence and made some very good contacts with people in the know.
Since school, he's been in and out of numerous bands but this is the first one that is a serious project.
Steve had played in many venues throughout the Brighton and Hove area and loves being in the limelight.
Drummer James Butcher, 36, is by far the most accomplished musician in the band, having started playing drums aged eight and starting his first band aged 16.
Since then, he went on to have two albums and several singles released. He's toured the UK and Europe several times and recorded at the world famous Maida Vale and Abbey Road studios with his old band Clearlake but, unfortunately, due to tendonitis, he had to hang up his sticks.
Having recently had that fixed, he's now back on his stool and ready to take over the world again.
Guitarist James Wood, 29, has been playing guitar since he was 19 and, after years of bedroom playing, he decided to take it a bit more seriously.
He formed a covers band and entered numerous competitions but nothing came of it.
James also studied at Brighton Institute of Modern Music and has a diploma in modern music.
His time at BIMM gave him a chance to play with some big names on stage and gave him some good contacts within the music industry.
Bass player Dan Wood, 33, is James' older brother and the musical virgin in the band.
Sticky Fingers is his first band as he has only been playing bass for four years.
Before that he DJ'd, mixing jungle and house music in a few pubs and clubs in and around Worthing.
He picked up the bass because he was in need of a new hobby and thought it would be cool to play in a band with his brother.
