A WORTHING band are celebrating after selling their album in America and Japan.
Ettin – a four-piece reggae band – are signed to a record label called Do the Dog music, and have been making money with their debut album Rise Yourself.

To promote their album in their home town, the band will be playing in the Guildbourne Centre and throwing a party at the Tangerine Bar, Marine Parade, in January.

The band, which consists of Will Rathbone, Joe Miles, Matt Townsend and Ruby Taylor, all from Worthing, say they have many influences from jazz to drum and bass.

Ruby Taylor, lead vocalist, said: "Not many people know about us here in Worthing so we are throwing the party to help create more awareness about us.

"It was fantastic to get signed up and get some recognition for our music."

Ettin's concert at the Guildbourne Centre is on January 5.

The celebration party at the Tangerine Bar is on January 11, from 7pm.
The party is free, and is open for anyone aged 18 or over.

Rise Yourself will be available in Worthing music shops, Random Rules and Music Mania, next year.
