TICKETS were sold out to the Women’s Hub 1,001 Arabian Nights evening.

More than 200 women attended the event at the St Paul’s Centre ni Chapel Road, Worthing, at the end of last month, making it the third successful event the group has arranged.

Mayoress Norah Fisher was in attendance, The Women’s Hub choir performed for the first time, there was a short play on the life of Queen Sheherezade, singer Noray sang two songs, and there was also poetry readings, a fashion show of Moroccan and Middle Eastern dresses and belly dancer Serena Ramzy. There were also stalls selling middle eastern food plus jewellery, henna, scarves, belly dancing costumes and kaftans.
