A 15-year-old boy from Worthing has been arrested following an incident in Broadwater Road which left one individual with stab wounds and another ‘having possibly been struck with a stick’.
A police spokesperson confirmed they were investigating after ‘a group of youths attacked two other people’.
It happened at around 7pm on Monday (August 8) and neither of the casualties’ injuries were considered life-threatening.
The 15-year-old boy has been arrested on suspicion of affray, causing grievous bodily harm with intent and possession of a knife in a public place.
He has been bailed until September 5 while enquiries continue.
