BREAKING: Worthing anti-fracking protestor faces trial

A WORTHING man will stand trial for obstructing a highway outisde the exploratory drilling site in Balcombe.

Paul Deacon, 50, of Selden Way, Worthing, is one of 11 anti-fracking protesters that will be trialled at Brighton Magistrates Court on January 7.

The defendants are said to have pulled a log in front of the entrance of the Cuadrilla drilling site in Balcombe in an attempt to stop workers and drivers from accessing the site.
