A GENEROUS businessman donated a brand-new television to Worthing Hospital’s women and children’s department, to help keep children entertained in the waiting area.

James Stoner, of JSPC Computer Service in Sompting, decided to offer the TV, after hearing about an appeal from the Love Your Hospital charity.

The hospital said the digital TV, which has replaced a small, old analogue set, will be invaluable to families using the service.

Tina Ellis, community and events fund-raiser, said: “Love Your Hospital charity continues to help make a difference to the hospital services and its patients. We are very grateful to James for his donation.”

James added: “It was a pleasure and an honour to be able to help such a worthy cause.”
