Campaign launched to help Goring children’s centre

A GORING-based nursery for children with special needs has launched a campaign to help it raise £150,000.

The Camelia Botnar Children’s Centre, in Wellesley Avenue, needs to raise the cash to help it to continue providing free care to children from across Sussex.

The centre, which has struggled financially in the past few years, wants to extend its pre-school nursery provision to 50 weeks. It says this will enable it to provide parents continued support by giving them much-needed respite care.

It plans to raise awareness of the campaign through various activities, including the distribution of fund-raising packs, social media and local business involvement.
