There will be tea and cake, a raffle, face-painting for children, a name the bear competition and more.

Sarah Stirling, chairman of the charity’s Worthing fundraising group, said: “It’s going to be a fantastic community event. The more money we raise, the more free care our nurses can provide to terminally ill people in Worthing as well as vital emotional support for their families.”

The tea party will take place on June 28, between 2pm and 5pm, in St Mary’s Church Hall, Compton Avenue, Goring. For more information, visit www.mariecurie.org.uk/teaparty or call 08700 340 040.
