A CAR crashed through the front window of Worthing’s Waitrose store last night.

The red Fiat Cinquecento, driven by a 73-year-old man, was travelling from Union Place when it left the road and smashed into the building in High Street at 9.49pm.

The car also contained a woman passenger.

Emergency services attended, but no one was hurt.
