Children’s hospice celebrates 10 years

A CHILDREN’S hospice opened its doors to the public on Friday, while at the same time celebrating its tenth birthday.

Chestnut Tree House in Dover Lane, Poling, welcomed thousands of visitors over two open-days, allowing them get a glimpse of how the centre operates.

Guests were taken on a guided tour of the centre’s facilities and got a chance to meet the staff that make Chestnut Tree House so successful.

Events fundraising manager Jo Goddard said: “The open day is a biannual event that gives us a chance to open our doors to the public of Sussex to show them who we are, what we do, and the amazing facilities we have here at Chestnut Tree House.”
