FOUR sets of parents received an extra-special Christmas present this year.
That is because four tiny tots were born on Christmas Day at Worthing Hospital – three to first-time mums and one to a mother who gave birth to her first son after being at the hospital for just an hour.
One set of proud parents was first-time mum and dad Robyn and Simon Woods, who had Faith April Woods at 8.25am.
The couple, of The Drove, Portslade, rushed into Worthing Hospital at 1.30am on Christmas Day after Robyn went into labour the day before.
Faith, who had been due on December 17, weighed 7lb 8oz.
Robyn, 25, said: “I have always liked the name Faith and it seemed to tie in with the day she was born.
“We had Christmas sort of planned. It was going to be Christmas at the in-laws.”
Simon, 23, joked: “Grand-dad was not happy about having bolognese instead on Christmas Day.”
