FAMILIES in need will receive a Christmas parcel from the Worthing Salvation Army this festive season.
More than 300 parcels including food and a toy or gift voucher for children aged between 12 and 15 will be handed out by the charity.
Each family has been referred to the Salvation Army from local agencies, social services, health services and church members.
Littlehampton business SSD Drives Division Europe has lent its backing to the appeal.
The Worthing Salvation Army Band, which celebrated its 130th birthday this year, is holding a Christmas concert at the Worthing Assembly Halls.
Christmas with the Salvation Army Carol Concert will take place on Sunday at 3pm. Tickets cost £5 and are available from the Worthing Theatres Box Office.
