Community volunteers needed

VOLUNTEERS are being sought to help run a number of community services across Adur.

Adur Special Needs Project, a charity providing fun and stimulating out-of-school activities for children and young people with a range of special needs, are looking for new trustees to bring personal and professional skills to its management team.

Individuals with passion, commitment, a belief in the work, and feel that they can contribute a couple of hours a month to the project are encouraged to get in touch by visitng www.adurspecialneedsproject.org.uk, e-mailing [email protected], or by phoning 01273 441866.

Helpers are also wanted for a coffee morning for the visually impaired.

4Sight is a charity supporting blind and partially sighted people that offers services to help people with sight loss gain independence and improve their wellbeing.

It is currently looking for volunteers to give some spare time to help at one of its social clubs.

Key activities would include welcoming members and ensuring new people are made to feel welcome, making and serving refreshments, helping people with sight loss and ensuring members are able to take part in activities.
