LANCING’S three county councillors have launched a forum where they hope to talk to residents about local issues and help voice their concerns.
The next UKIP Link meeting will be on Thursday, December 12, at 7:30pm at the Harriet Johnson Centre in Loose Lane, Sompting.
UKIP Link will be a regular opportunity for Lancing and Sompting residents to meet with their county councillors to discuss a range of community issues.
Cllr Lionel Parsons said: “Right across Adur we are heading for some very challenging times and my local constituents approach me on a regular basis.
“Issues range from traffic regulations to flooding, and right now about how we resist massive new housing development plans.”
He added: “All of Lancing’s county councillors will be present, with key parish councillors and an elected member from Adur District Council.
“It’s not about finding magic solutions there and then, it’s about identifying the biggest community issues, so that we can take them up on your behalf.”
