CRICKET: Sussex v Hampshire at Arundel – picture gallery

SUSSEX have won their County Championship match at Arundel by 10 wickets.

They reached 11-0 after bowling Hampshire out for 257 and 179.

Sussex had made 426 in their first innings. Murray Goodwin was eventually out for 184.

On Wednesday, Goodwin and Carl Hopkinson had shared a 194-run fifth-wicket stand after Sussex had fallen to 25-4. Hopkinson hit his maiden century, and was out for 106.

The match runs from today (Wednesday) until Saturday, and then Sussex entertain Somerset in the Pro40 League on Sunday.

Luke Wright misses out after suffering a fracture to the small finger on his left hand during fielding practice with the England squad at Lord's on Friday, and Mushtaq Ahmed continues to recover after a second knee operation.
