BREAKING NEWS: Police appeal for information after Storrington burglary

Police are appealing for information after a supermarket in Storrington was burgled in the early hours of this morning (Friday, August 19).

Officers attended Waitrose in Old Mill Square, Storrington, at around 2.50am after an alarm in the store was activated.

It is thought a quantity of cigarettes were stolen from the break-in.

Sergeant Mark Miller of Horsham Neighbourhood Response Team said: “We believe that the offenders may have been two men and we would like to hear from anyone who may have seen any suspicious activity in the area around the time of the incident or anyone who saw the offenders leaving the shop and making their escape.”
