A SHOP worker was threatened with a piece of wood when three teens robbed a Worthing electrical store.
It happened at Curry’s on the Downland Business Park, Lyons Farm, at around 9.30am today (Tuesday, December 13), when the woman challenged three teenagers who grabbed items from the shop’s window display.
The suspects, all believed to be in their late teens or early 20s, ran off from the shop with two laptops and an i-Pad.
Detective Constable Laura Sinden, from Worthing police, said: “We are in the very early stages of investigating the robbery and are offering support to the victim and other staff members who were working at the time.
“If anyone was in the area at the time of the robbery and witnessed any suspicious behaviour, they should come forward immediately.”
The suspects are all described as white and as having their faces covered. The first suspect was wearing a blue Adidas hoodie, the second a black Superdry coat and the third a dark-coloured coat.
