POLICE have released CCTV images of a group of men officers would like to speak to in connection with a robbery at the Carphone Warehouse in Worthing.

The incident happened at the store in Montague Place at about 3.20pm on Wednesday, February 29, when four men went into the shop and started to take phones from the display, before running out and heading west towards the bandstand.

DC Andy Hobden, who is investigating the robbery, said: “We hope that someone will recognise one or all of the men from the CCTV images and contact police with their identities so we can speak to them in relation to this robbery.

“We would also still like to speak to anyone who was in Worthing town centre at around the time of the incident who may have witnessed something but have not yet come forward.

“Anyone who can assist this enquiry is asked to contact me at Worthing CID on 101, extension 81157, quoting serial number 1032 of 29 February.

“Alternatively, call the independent charity Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555111.”
