Children’s charity box stolen from Worthing café

A charity box containing hundreds of pounds has been stolen from a café in Worthing.

The incident is believed to have occurred at Bosun Café, in West Buildings, sometime between 2pm on Wednesday, December 2, and 2pm on Thursday, December 3, according to Sussex Police.

The box, owned by Kids 4 Kenya, contained several hundreds of pounds which were to be used to fund food, buildings, shower blocks and beds for children at a nursery based in Mtwapa, near Mombasa.

Anyone with any information is asked to contact Sussex Police on 101@sussex.pnn.police.uk or call 101, quoting serial 1030 of 03/12.
