Lancing man charged after Brighton fight

TWELVE men are due to appear in court following a police investigation into a Brighton brawl.

David Prowse, 33 of Sompting Road, Lancing, was one of those charged.

The fight, believed to be between football fans, took place at around 4.30pm on Saturday, July 31, last year in Grove Hill, Brighton.

Police received a total of 28 calls about the fight, with reports varying from 50 to 100 men involved.

Two men were taken to hospital by ambulance with minor facial injuries.

The other men charged are: Dante Lauder-Hawkins, 21, of Exmoor Street, London; Steven Davison, 30, of Algers Mead, Loughton; Matthew Keech, 27, of Bells Hill, Barnet; Martin Asli, 47, of Greenhaven Drive, London; Harvey Siney, 18, of Margery Road, Hove; Jamie Lowe, 43, of Mile Oak Road, Portslade; Matthew Clayton, 24, of Highdown Drive, Littlehampton; Stuart McCullough, 21 of Seaton Road, Wick, Littlehampton; Matthew Cummins, 33, of Wantley Hill Estate, Henfield; Steven White, 44, of Church Street, London; and Ben Goodwin, 21, of Foredown Drive, Portslade.
