A 32-year-old woman from Angmering was arrested at the time on suspicion of causing grievous bodily harm, and has been bailed until February 19.

Detective Constable Andy Hobden said: “This was a nasty attack in which the victim was initially close to losing the sight in her left eye. I would like to speak to anyone who was in the toilets at the time of this assault and who witnessed what happened and to anyone else who has any other information which may assist.
