Police appeal after Worthing attack

Police are appealing for witnesses to an assault on two men in their 40s who were attacked close to the Teville Road and Victoria Road junction, Worthing, on Sunday, December 13.

The victims were walking together near the town’s railway station when the assault took place between 3.50am and 4.20am.

Both men attended Worthing Hospital. One was treated for minor injuries. The second man received several stitches to injuries to his head and hands.

Their attackers are described as being a group of five, consisting of both men and women.

Anyone who witnessed the incident is asked to email 101@sussex.pnn.police.uk or call 101, quoting serial 275 of 13/12.
