Police are keen to speak to the owners of around 100 cannabis plants that were found at an address in Talbot Road, Littlehampton.

Officers executed a warrant at around 8.50pm on Friday, 7 October, following calls from local residents about a strong cannabis smell coming from the property, police confirmed.

There was no answer and when the front door was forced open two men were seen to leave the house through a back door and run off in separate directions, according to the police.

Police said that a total of 98 cannabis plants were seized, which are thought to have a street value of up to £80,000.

Sergeant Daniel West said: “We are pleased to have seized such a large number of plants and taken these drugs off the street, but would now very much like to speak with their owners.

“We have already spoken with a number of local residents.

“If you have any information, no matter how insignificant you may think it is, please get in touch.”
